Classes (3 sessions)

Classes consist of three (3) sessions, once per week at the same time and day. Each session is 75 minutes and includes a combination of “classroom” presentation by the instructor, game video review and analysis, and responses to student questions. Cost is $80 per student for all three sessions (one payment of $80).

Limited to 10 students per class.

 Preface:

Pickleball is a two-sided sport. Serve side play and return side play are as different as playing baseball and soccer. If you do not understand the difference in each side and play them the same, that is what we call “no bueno.”

  • Mastering the serve and third shot – Playing a better serve side of pickleball to score more points faster

In this class you will learn the steps to play an awesome serve game. If you can play an awesome serve game, you will score more points faster. Score more points faster = you win more games.

You will learn sound serve concepts, third shot, neutralizing the point (this is not an esoteric concept – it is the key to pickleball play), 50/50 points, and more. You will leave the class with a better understanding of how to play an effective serve side of the game.

This class can benefit players at all levels. If you need help with playing a sound serve side of the game, this class is for you. There may be things you already know but need reminding. Unless you are already playing a sound serve side there will be something there for you. If not, we will refund your tuition.

  • Mastering the return and fourth shot – Playing a better return side of pickleball to prevent your opponents from scoring

In this class you will learn the steps to play an impenetrable return game. If you can play an impenetrable return game, your opponents scoring attempts will be frustrated (as well as your opponents). Frustrated opponents scoring less points = you win more games.

You will learn sound return concepts, fourth shot, the positional advantage (it’s a thing), how you are losing that advantage (it is likely you are) and more. You will leave the class with a better understanding of how to play an effective return side of the game.

This class can benefit players at all levels. If you need help with playing a sound return side of the game, this class is for you. There may be things you already know but need reminding. Unless you are already playing a sound return side there will be something there for you. If not, we will refund your tuition.

Workshops (1 session)

Our single-session workshops are designed for players who are interested in a specific area of the game (e.g. stacking or defusing a banger). They are either 60 minutes or 3 hours. More below.

60-Minute Workshops

These workshops delve into specific topics. We will discuss the topic, break down pickleball match play video, answer questions and get you back out on the court with more knowledge than you had at the start. Guaranteed. Each workshop is a single 60-minute session. Find a topic you like and we will see you in class. Cost is $25 per student.

Limited to 20 students per session.

  • No more popups (or at least less)

Learn tips and tricks to reduce popups in your game. We will also go over techniques for how to deal with the dreaded popup when it happens (they will happen). This workshop is for all levels. If you are popping the ball up, this class is for you.

  • Defuse the Banger

What do we do about these bangers? We level the field with them is what we do. If you are tired of getting banged off the court, join us and learn how to defuse the banger. This workshop is good for all levels and is particularly good for rec players who are getting blasted off the court. If you want to level the game, this workshop is for you.

  • Winning the lob game

Do you know how and when to lob? How about defending against the lob? In this workshop we will cover this powerful, and often underutilized, shot. We will also show you tips for defending against the effective lobber. This workshop is good for all levels but it helps if you know basic stroke mechanics; we will be working from that point onward. If you need another arrow in your quiver, or are tired of getting lobbed to death, this workshop is for you.

Master Workshops (our Deep Dives)

These workshops delve into specific topics – they are deep dives where we will go down the rabbit hole and come out the other end as better players. We will discuss the topic, break down pickleball match play video, answer questions and get you back out on the court with more knowledge than you had at the start. Guaranteed.

Each workshop is a single 3-hour session with two 15-minute breaks. Find a topic you like and we will see you in class. Cost is $60 per student.

Limited to 10 students per session.

  • Master Stacking (Project 4.0)

I know a few things about pickleball. But stacking? That is my obsession.

Stacking can take your game to another level. Learn the mechanics of stacking, the best approach to stacking, when to stack, when not to stack, where to hit your return when stacked, how to stack and the ¾ stack.

Also learn how to defend against the stack. We will even get into counter-stacking – what??? If you want to learn how to master the stack, this workshop is for you.

This workshop is part of our Project 4.0 and is best for 3.5+ players who already have a sound understanding of the game otherwise. If you are not there yet, keep working on the fundamentals and save stacking as you would dessert after a great meal.

  • Pickleball Fundamentals

Make sure you are playing fundamentally sound pickleball. We will work through the phases of a pickleball point from each side (serve and return) and provide you with strategies for optimal play.

This workshop is aimed at any player who does not have a sound understanding of the structure of a pickleball point or game. That includes new players and beginners but is not limited to these players. If you could use a better understanding of how to construct winning pickleball points, this workshop is for you.

  •  Core Strategies for maximum results (Project 4.0)

In2Pickle is known for its core strategy maxims: Respect the X, Cover the middle, Aggro Dink. Learn (or master) these, and other, strategies to maximize your advantage on the court. While a point can be played different ways (drive, third shot, or lob), there are certain basic principles that will improve your results over the long term.

This workshop is part of our Project 4.0 and is best for 3.5+ players who already have a sound understanding of the game otherwise. While these principles apply regardless of level, it is best to focus on finalizing fundamentals first before adopting these more advanced strategies.
